The cuisine in the Hotel Sportalm in Altenmarkt / Zauchensee in the superb Salzburger Land has special culinary delights on offer. Enjoy fine cuisine from Petra Winkler and Manfred Oberndorfer. It is a particular wish of both them to indulge you, with international as well as regional delights. Their foremost principle is to present you with meals of the highest quality.

Fresh ingredients, primarily of local origin, are the basis for meals which are rich in diversity.

In the evenings we indulge with our 5-course menu. Variety, creativity and beautiful presentation are a matter of course. Alternating buffets such as starters, pasta, strudel and dessert buffets make your culinary week even more relaxing.

In the morning we welcome you with a substantial Salzburg breakfast buffet, which really leaves nothing to be desired. Get the day off to a lovely start with fresh fruit, fine ham, several types of honey and jams, cakes and pastries, some of which are home-made. All our egg dishes are freshly prepared to order. Invigorating teas by Willi Dungl; you can choose a Ronnefeldt teapot from the buffet yourself; we are happy to serve you energizing Jacobs coffee at your table. As a special highlight we invite you to have a small glass of Prosecco from the buffet.  Refuelled, you're fit for the day ahead.

Our extensive culinary offer is rounded off by our small, yet very fine and well assorted wine list, which has Austrian wines in particular, for instance by Gsellmann, Jurtschitsch, Grassl, Jamek, Birnstingl, Hummel, Iby and quite a few from other winegrowers.
